The Blackberry 8350i features a QWERTY keyboard interface.
BlackBerry is a line of smartphone devices created by Research In Motion (RIM.) The 8350i is a version of the Curve created for Sprint Nextel. Like other devices in the BlackBerry range, the 8350i is optimized for various types of communication including email, instant messaging, SMS and MMS. In order to receive a text message, you must ensure the device is switched on and ready to receive.
Instructions
1. Press the battery cover release button at the side of the phone and slide the cover off.
2. Remove the battery pack to reveal the SIM card slot; slide your SIM card into this slot, replace the battery and the battery cover.
3. Hold down the 8350i power button to turn on the device, enter your pincode if prompted and wait for the 8350i the fully load.
4. Press the menu key, scroll to and open "Manage Connections" and select "Mobile Network" to turn on the mobile radio--the 8350i will now receive network coverage.
5. Wait for NXTL to appear in the corner. This means that the 8350i is connected to a network and can now receive incoming communication. When a text message comes through, press the menu key and open "Messaging." The message will be located in your inbox.
