If you use a personal digital assistant like the Dell Axim, you obviously want it to run smoothly for long periods of time. This sometimes requires you to replace the PDA battery when it runs low on power. To do that, you must know remove the main battery from your Dell Axim device-a very simple procedure. Here is remove the battery from a Dell Axim.
Instructions
1. Switch off the Dell Axim unit.
2. Locate the battery latch-a sliding button that locks and unlocks the battery cover-at the rear of the unit.
3. Press the tip of the stylus against the latch button. Toggle the latch to the "unlock" position. This will free the battery cover for easy removal.
4. Slide out or raise the cover to expose the replaceable battery.
5. Press the battery down lightly to make it slide out of the battery well. In some models, check the left side of the battery for a flap or pull-tab. Then pull the battery out until it has been released from the battery well.
6. Extract the battery from the Dell Axim.
