Upload Photos From A Casio Exilim Exz35

The Exilim EX-Z35 is a digital camera from Casio. It comes with features such as YouTube Capture Mode and an Easy Mode. If you want to share the photos on your camera or want to free up space, you can upload them to your computer.

Instructions

Setup

1. Turn the camera on and press the "Menu" button located at the lower part of the back of the camera.

2. Move to the right, using the Control button, until "Set Up" is highlighted. Then scroll down until you get to USB.

3. Press the right side of the Control button and choose the "Mass Storage" option. Turn off the camera.

4. Plug the camera's USB cord into the slot at the bottom of the camera. Put the other end into a USB port in the computer.

Upload Photos

5. Turn the camera on once it is connected to the computer. The camera's folder should pop up in a few seconds, if not immediately. This is where your photos are located and where future photos/videos will be. If the folder does not pop up on its own, you can find it in My Computer.

6. Select "Open Folder To View Files" and you will see a folder named DCIM. Copy the folder by right-clicking it and selecting "Copy" or by dragging it onto your desktop. You can copy the folder by clicking the option to "Copy This Folder" in the Files and Folders task pane. The latter option can be used for easier transfer of photos to different destinations on the computer.

7. Close the window and turn the camera off. Once the green back lamp light is out, you may disconnect the camera from the computer.
