The Kodak Li-Ion Rapid K8500-C+1 battery charger is needed to recharge Kodak's KLIC-8000 Li-Ion camera battery. This battery is compatible with several Kodak EasyShare camera models, including the Z8612 IS, the Z1485 IS and the Z612. The charger will replenish a drained battery in less than three hours, and each battery should last for about 300 charges. The KLIC-8000 Li-Ion rechargeable battery averages about 275 pictures before it needs recharging.
Instructions
1. Slide the battery into the charger compartment from the open side. The positive end of the battery should be inserted first, following the positive and negative indicators on the charger.
2. Push the battery completely into the charger.
3. Plug the charger into a wall socket. A red light will glow on the charger, indicating that it is charging the battery.
4. Wait for the red light to turn green, meaning the battery is fully charged. Charging takes about three hours. Unplug the charger from the wall and remove the battery.
