Instructions

1. Find out if the your phone comes with any "Get Started" CD. Insert the CD into the computer's DVD drive to install the handset specific synchronizing program on the user's PC. Wait for the installation to finish. This generally happens when a message notifying the user of completion appears on the screen.

2. Connect the smart phone to the PC using the USB cable supplied with the user's wireless handset. Follow steps outlined by the synchronizing set-up wizard, a virtual assistant that walks the user through a series of commands that outline the synchronizing process.

3. Pay close attention to the instructions given by the set-up wizard. Check the box next to any PC programs that the user wants to mesh with the wireless handset including email, contacts and any documents. Click "Finish" to end the synchronization process.
