Configure The Samsung Blackjack Cingular Phone With An Exchange Server

The Samsung Blackjack Smartphone is a feature-rich business device. One of the most impressive and beneficial features is the phone's ability to connect to your company's Microsoft Exchange Server. By accessing the Exchange Server, your phone will display your corporate email, calendar and tasks in real time, thereby allowing you the freedom and flexibility to travel outside your office without missing vital correspondence.


Instructions


1. Press the "Start" soft key to open the main Program Group.


2. Scroll to and select "ActiveSync" to open your phone's ActiveSync software.


3. Press the "Menu" soft key and select the "Add Server Source" option.


4. Enter your Microsoft Exchange Server address in the space provided and check the box marked "This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection."


5. Press the "Next" soft key and enter your User name, Password and Domain on the screen that follows.


6. Press the "Next" soft key and select the specific item types you want synchronized with your Exchange Server.


7. Press the "Finish" soft key to save your new Microsoft Exchange Server settings.
