The Pioneer Inno is a type of portable satellite radio that is used in conjunction with XM radio. Occasionally, you may need to upgrade the radio's firmware to make sure it has all of the latest software upgrades and features. You can do this upgrade right from your computer, and the firmware is free. In order to find out if your satellite radio needs new firmware, you can log onto the XM Radio website and check for updates.

2. Shut down your web browser after you have downloaded the file.

3. Plug the Pioneer Inno radio into a power source using the A/C adapter.

4. Hook one end of a USB cable into your computer and the other end into your Pioneer Inno radio.
