Insert the time and date on your pictures using Canon ZoomBrowser.
The Canon PowerShot S5 is an 8.0 megapixel digital camera with a 12x optical zoom. It produces deeply detailed pictures, but lacks a feature that may be important for some users--the ability to take pictures with the date and time imprinted on the image. There is a way to bypass that, however, by using a Canon software program called ZoomBrowser. This software allows users to customize their pictures before printing them out.
Instructions
1. Click on the ZoomBrowser icon on your desktop to open the program.
2. Click on "Print," which is located in the menu on the left-hand side of the ZoomBrowser screen.
3. Click on the "One Photo per Page Print" selection in the drop-down "Print" menu.
4. Click on the picture that you want to print, and select "Printer and Layout Settings."
5. Choose the print settings and page layout you want for your picture. Click inside the boxes next to "Shooting Date" and "Shooting Time." Select the text color for the date and time.
6. Look at the lower right-hand corner of the picture to preview how the image will look with the date and time. If everything is correct, click on the "Print" button in the top left corner. Wait for your picture to print.
