Hook Up Tv Ears

TV Ears lets people to listen to TVs, MP3 players and radios at a level that is convenient and pleasant and won't disturb others. They are comfortable and lightweight, have a rechargeable battery, and can be adjusted to the level that works best for you. They can be especially useful to those who have hearing problems. TV Ears work with every type of TV and can be moved from TV to TV or to other devices in the home.


Instructions


1. Unwrap the TV Ears from the packaging and lay out the parts on a flat surface in front of you.


2. Find the audio output ports on the back or side of your TV. Plug the black end of the TV Ears cord into the TV transmitter socket on the black transmission box that comes with TV Ears.


3. Plug the black and red plugs into the audio output sockets of the TV set. Don't use any plugs on the front of the TV.


4. Remove the AC adapter that came with the TV Ears package and plug it into an electrical outlet. Plug the other end into the 12-volt jack on the transmitter.


5. Place the transmitter 4 to 6 feet from the floor on a stable surface. Face the infrared site toward the place you will be sitting, and make sure that the front of the box isn't blocked.


6. Charge the headset in the base of the transmitter for at least an hour before you use it. When the headset is charged, put on the earphones and adjust them until they are comfortable.


7. Make sure that the volume is off or low. Slowly raise the volume until it is just right. If necessary, adjust the tone.


8. Turn the TV Ears off when you remove them. Place them in the front charging slot of the transmitter so they'll be ready and charged when you want to use them again.
