Locate A Friend With Google Latitude

Google Latitude is a free mobile GPS service that allows friends and family members to quickly and conveniently check in at locations on a map. On most smartphone devices, it is a built-in feature in the Google Maps application. The Latitude feature in Google Maps is available for the following mobile device platforms: Android, BlackBerry, Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile. It is also available on the iPhone and iPod Touch as a web-based mobile application.

Instructions

Join Google Latitude

1. Open the Google Maps application on your mobile device.

2. Press the Menu icon on your Android phone, then choose "Join Latitude." On BlackBerry, Windows Mobile or Symbian S60 devices, select "Latitude" from the main application menu.

5. Touch "Select from Contacts" or "Add via email address" to add a friend. Google may suggest a friend for you to add under the "Suggested friends" section.
