Use your prom night to get memorable outdoor pictures.
Your prom night is one of the highlights of your high school life, and you should use it as an opportunity to encapsulate your memories in pictures. When you are at the prom you will have a chance to take the standard couple picture that may wind up in the yearbook or on your mantle at home, but you should also take time to create lasting memories of your high school years with some outside prom pictures.
Sports
If you have any athletes in your group, use prom day to get some interesting pictures at the various school sporting fields. Football players can line up in their tuxedos on the field, and any cheerleaders can strike a pose on the sideline in their prom dresses. Track stars can pose as though they are just starting a race in their tuxedos or prom dresses. Put the pitcher for the baseball or softball team on the mound with a glove and a ball, and put the star hitter in the batter's box. Members of the tennis teams can swing their rackets on the court.
Hangouts
Many teenagers have places they'll remember for years. Use those places as backdrops for your photos. Go the parks you've spent time in, take pictures at the restaurant where you've worked. If you've had a favorite pizza or burger place, go there for your photos.
First Date
If you want to do special outdoor pictures as a couple on your prom day, then visit the place you went on your first date. Pose outside the restaurant where you had dinner or the theater where you saw a movie together. Did you go out for ice cream? Then go to that spot for your exterior photos.
First Car
If you want to make your first car part of your prom pictures, you and your date could pose in your tuxedo and dress while sitting on or around your car. If your car was a junker, you could have a lot of fun pretending to push the car down the street with your friends--all of you in your very best attire.
