Remove Embassy Trust Suite
The Embassy Trust Suite is a group of security software programs developed by the Wave Systems Corporation. The suite includes a number of security components to protect computer systems such as data encryption, a password manager, authentication support programs as well as a backup and recovery program. Uninstall the Embassy Trust Suite to free up space on your hard drive or before installing a new version of the software. The uninstall process is quick and easy.
Instructions
1. Use the Embassy Trust Suite uninstaller included in the program group in the "All Programs" list. To access the All Programs list, click on "Start" and click "All Programs."
2. Scroll through the All Programs list to the "Embassy Trust Suite" folder. Click on the folder to open the programs in the software group. Click on the "Uninstaller" option to open the Embassy Trust uninstaller utility. Type in the administrator account log-in information if prompted by the computer.
3. Follow the specific instructions in the Embassy Trust uninstaller wizard to remove the software programs. Restart the computer to save the changes to the system settings and configurations.
Use the Windows Control Panel Uninstaller
4. Use the built-in Windows uninstaller in the Control Panel folder if there is no uninstaller utility in the Embassy Trust Suite of programs. To open the uninstaller, click "Start" and click "Control Panel." For Vista and Windows 7 computers, click "Programs" and choose "Programs and Features." For XP and older version, double-click on the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.
5. Click on the file name of one of the programs in the Embassy Trust Suite in the programs list displayed by the uninstaller. Click on the "Uninstall" button or "Change / Remove" button to open the Windows Uninstaller Wizard. Enter in the log-in information for an administrator account if prompted by the system.
6. Follow the directions displayed by the Windows Uninstaller to remove the program. Repeat the process for each of the programs in the "Embassy Trust Suite" software group.
7. Restart the computer to complete the uninstall and save any changes to the Windows configuration and settings.
