Share digital photo albums with modern software and adapters.
Digital technology makes it easy to share digital photo albums. Uploading single pictures or full albums has become a quick matter of drag-and-drop or transferring data onto USB flash drives. The benefit of using a flash drive is having the photos backed up on an external source should something happen to the computer. Loading digital albums is fast and efficient.
Instructions
1. Insert the USB flash drive into one of the USB ports on a laptop or home computer. Turn on the computer and look for the USB drive icon or setting.
2. Open the photo software for your computer (iPhoto and Windows HD Media are just two examples of many). Highlight the photo album you wish to load or view. Drag the album to the USB flash drive icon.
3. Wait for the data transfer to take place. Open the file on the flash drive icon to ensure the album made the transfer.
4. Remove the USB flash drive. Insert the USB drive into another computer or electronic viewing device. Use an adapter if necessary to transfer and load the album to the new device.
5. Select the album to load into the new device, and drag-and-drop onto the desktop or hard drive to load.
