The Forerunner 301 is a digital heart rate monitor device from Garmin that is designed to operate as a virtual personal assistant. The Forerunner can record and keep track of heart rate information from your workout routines and calculate your improvements. This digital monitoring device also can store different workout profiles that you can name. The process of changing the name of your workout profile in the Forerunner 301 is fairly straightforward.
Instructions
1. Press the "Mode" button to enter the Menu mode on the device.
2. Use the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to scroll through the main menu to the "Training Assistant" option; then press the "Enter" button.
3. Select the "Advanced Workout" option; then press the "Enter" button.
4. Select the workout from the listing that you want to rename; then press the "Enter" button. The name will appear highlighted in the next screen. Enter the new name and press the "Enter" button to save the change.
