Maxis 3g Vs Celcom 3g

Maxis and Celcom are telecommunications and Internet service providers based in Malaysia. Both companies offer 3G broadband Internet access for their mobile devices.


Broadband


Internet access through 3G allows users to access the Internet at a fast speeds, increasing the ability of users to watch TV and movies on their devices. Celcom offers local TV channels for Malaysian subscribers, including TV3, NTV7 and 8TV.


Charges


As of early 2011, Celcom offers unlimited 3G Internet access on monthly plans costing $32 and $39, depending on the plan chosen, along with a pay-per-use 3G option. Maxis offers a pay-per-use plan ranging from $0.65 to $2.60, and monthly plans from Maxis range from $5 to $26.


Wi-Fi


Both Maxis and Celcom provide broadband cards for use with notebooks and other computers, with Celcom's 3G broadband access running at around 384 kbps. Both systems are always on when the device is turned on and provide coverage throughout Malaysia.
