Add a Date Stamp to a PDF File
Adding a date stamp to a portable document format (PDF) file is not only possible, it is an easy task to complete. By simply downloading some additional software and installing it on your computer, you can easily add watermarks and date stamps to all your important PDF documents.
Instructions
1. Download a copy of the A-PDF Watermark program located at the main Adobe Acrobat site. This program works with your existing version of Adobe Acrobat and allows users to perform additional functions such as date stamping.
2. Install the software on your computer and open the program.
3. Click "File" and open "PDF" from the opening display screen of the program. Select the PDF file you wish to add a date stamp to. This file will then be added to the watermark window.
4. Double click on the PDF file in the watermark window screen. This will open the new text watermark screen. Type the date and watermark you wish to appear on the PDF document.
5. Click the "Watermark Save As" button at the bottom of your screen. This will save your watermark and date stamp to the PDF document.
