Motorola, Inc. is a widely known telecommunications company located in Illinois. It is a major manufacturer of wireless cell phone handsets, as well as various home electronics equipment, such as digital video boxes and high-definition televisions. In addition, the company also develops and manufactures cell phone accessories, such as Bluetooth headsets, which are wireless devices that can be connected to a cell phone in order to make and receive calls without physically picking up the phone. These have a myriad of uses, especially for use in safe driving.
Instructions
1. Hold down your headset's "Multifunction" button, located on the face of the device, for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes. The light may be blue or red, depending on the individual model of the device.
2. Turn your Bluetooth headset by opening the boom. The boom is the protruding part of the headset where your voice is received and transmitted.
3. Turn on your cell phone, if you haven't already. Turn on your cell phone's Bluetooth connectivity, usually located in the "Settings" area in your menu list. Initiate a "Locate Device" or "Device Discovery" command by selecting it in the Bluetooth settings list.
4. A prompt will appear listing all Bluetooth devices the phone can pair with in range. Select "Motorola Handset" on this list.
5. When prompted for a passkey, enter "0000" (without quotations). When completed, the headset indicator light will flash ten times repeatedly to confirm the pairing.
