The "Traffic Rush" game may help you deal with crowded freeways.
"Traffic Rush" is so simple your grandma could probably get a decent score. The free iPod Touch and iPhone game from Donut Games is all about getting cars and trucks and motorcycles through an intersection. It's so simple you won't find any traditional gaming "cheats" for this game, but you can adopt some of the strategy the best players use.
Instructions
1. Download "Traffic Rush" from the Apple App Store, if you don't already have it.
2. Start the game by tapping its icon. The object is to keep the vehicles from crashing in the intersection. Swipe the cars to speed them up. Tap them to stop or slow them. It's a score-based game. How many cars you get through the intersection without crashing equals your score. When two vehicles crash, the game stops. Check your score and start again.
3. Use your index fingers, rather than your thumbs. That's the biggest strategy tip. You can see the board better when you use your fingers and your fingers are quicker than your thumbs when it comes to flicking cars along the road.
4. Swipe cars at least 80 percent of the time, rather than tapping them.
5. Tap a car only when you're sure you can then quickly speed it up after the traffic in the intersection has passed. You also have to watch for fast-moving cars coming up behind the stopped car.
