Display Ports To An Hdmi Converter

The HDMI port has quickly become the video/audio port of choice because of its slimline, hi-definition design. Unlike other TV ports, HDMI uses a single cable to transmit your video and audio to your television. However, not every connectible device can be connected to the HDMI port. If you have a display port, like one you would use to connect a monitor to a computer, use an adapter that makes the device connectible to the HDMI port.

Instructions

1. Locate one of the HDMI-in ports on the rear of side of your TV. Insert the adapter into the HDMI port.

2. Connect the display cable to the device that you want to connect to the HDMI port. Connect the other end of the display cable to the adapter that is now in the HDMI port.

3. Turn your TV on and turn your device on. Turn your TV to the correct video input. If you inserted the adapter into HDMI 1, use "Video 1" and so on.

4. Insert whatever medium (VHS, DVD, CD) into the device; it will begin to play through your TV's HDMI port.
