Instructions


1. Locate "Media specifications" on the outside of the box. Also try your paperwork included with your Palm Tungsten E2.


2. Inspect your paper work carefully. Visit the Palm Web site for information on the Palm Tungsten E2.


3. Visit the Microsoft download center where you will see that only genuine Windows files are accepted by Windows Media Player 10/Direct X. The Direct X validation system means that each file will be checked by Windows Media Player to be sure they are real Windows files.


4. Visit the Microsoft Windows Media Player support page. Then find out which video file formats are supported by Windows Media Player 10.


5. Remember that additional information sent with video files, such as play lists and text files, may come in different formats but are still readable by Windows Media Player 10.


6. Check "Real Player help" to find out which file types are supported on your Palm Tungsten E2. The typical Real Player application can play MP3, Real Media and WAV format files.


7. Start the "Real Player program" on your Palm Tungsten E2. Under the Tools menu, select "Preferences > Content" and then "Media Types." Read the information provided on the right-hand side of the window.
