Record Using The Lcd Monitor On A Camcorder

The easiest way to check what you're recording on a camcorder is by using the LCD monitor. The LCD monitor will give you a more accurate picture than the eyepiece. Using the LCD monitor on your camcorder is easy. Follow these steps to learn record using the LCD monitor on a camcorder.


Instructions


1. Turn your camcorder on by pressing the "Power" button.


2. Flip out the LCD screen. This should be located on one of the sides of your camcorder. To flip the LCD monitor out, you will need to either push or slide the latch holding it in place.


3. Make sure there is an image on your LCD monitor. If there is an image, your LCD monitor is working properly. If the monitor is blank, try closing and reopening it, and make sure you've taken off the lens cap.


4. Point the camera at the object you want to record and find it on the monitor. Reframe as needed, and make sure the object is in focus.


5. Press record and keep your subject in view on the monitor.
