Charge A Canon Camera

Canon is not only a leader in printing. It is also a juggernaut in the camera industry as well. Its high resolution, clear pictures, and ease of use, make Canon one of the most popular camera brands in the world. Simply recharge your camera before your adventure and create a picture that is worth a thousand words.

Instructions

Using a Recargeable Battery Kit

1. Buy a rechargeable battery and charger kit that is specific to your model. One kit in particular is the Canon CBK4-300, which is designed for the Canon Power Shot.

2. Insert the rechargeable batteries into the designated slots of the kit. Slide the power plug from out of the kit and plug into an outlet. The batteries will be fully charged when the light on the kit turns green. This could take several hours depending on the life of the batteries.

3. Hold the camera so that the bottom is facing up. Using your finger nail, slide the round knob beside "BATT.OPEN" to the right. Lift and pull on the battery cover while keeping the knob in this position. Remove the battery cover.

4. Remove the batteries from the charger kit and insert into the camera. Close the battery cover so that it clicks back into place.

Using an AC Power Adapter

5. Insert one end of the adapter into the camera. Push it in all the way until it clicks.

6. Plug the power plug of the adapter into an outlet.

7. Turn on the camera. Check the screen of the camera. It will be charged once the bars of the battery icon are full.
