In 2004, Major League Baseball gave XM radio the right to broadcast every MLB game the leagues schedule. No matter which team you root for, you can hear all of their games on XM radio. Many games are also aired in Spanish.
Instructions
1. Find the schedule of games that XM is broadcasting. Go to xmradio.com and click on the Major League Baseball schedules link, which will take you to a pull down menu of leagues and teams.
2. Choose American or National league from the dropdown menu.
3. Choose the team you wish to listen to from the "Select Your Team" dropdown menu. Options include broadcasts in Spanish, home feed and national feed for most teams.
4. Review the results of your search. The site will give you a schedule of game times and which XM channels they will be broadcast on. Write this information down for later use.
5. Turn on your XM radio and go to the channel listed for the game you wish to hear. You can also flip around to listen to other MLB games.
6. Go to XM channel 175 to listen to Home Plate. Home Plate is a 24-hour station dedicated to Major League Baseball. There you'll find hosts talking with sports personalities, discussions and broadcasts of vintage games.
