Featuring additional storage options for documents and email, the EX-S770 provides a single-device solution for your photos, videos and other files.

Physical Specifications

When the Casio Exilim EX-S770 was introduced, it was one of the smallest digital cameras on the market. With the power off and the lens retracted into the camera, the device is 3.7 inches wide and 2.4 inches in height, with a sleek 0.7-inch thickness and weighing in at 4.5-ounces. The camera has a thin-film transistor (TFT), liquid crystal display that measures 2.8 inches diagonally.

Photos

The Exilim EX-S770 snaps photos at a maximum resolution of 3072-by-2304 pixels or as low as 640-by-480 pixels. Photos are taken using a 38-114 mm lens. The device includes a 3x optical zoom and a 4x digital zoom for greater magnification. The auto-focus mode can be set to macro, pan, infinity or manual, depending on preference and shot composition. Shutter speeds range from 1/2 to 1/2000 second; at night, the range is 4 seconds to 1/2000 second.

Movies

In addition to taking digital photos, the EX-S770 can record digital video in either MPEG-4 or AVI format. Video resolution ranges from 320-by-240 pixels and goes as high as 640-by-480 pixels. The camera can record widescreen video at a resolution of 704-by-384 pixels. The image stabilization feature of the camera reduces blurring from shaking hands while recording video.

Storage

In addition to recording high-quality images and videos, the Exilim EX-S770 can double as a portable storage device. The Casio Data Transport application bundled with the camera allows the transfer of emails, Web pages and other documents directly to the camera's SD memory card. The files are converted to JPEG format to be viewable on the LCD, making it easy to carry important documents while on the go. Photos from a PC can also be transferred to the camera's storage. The camera supports secure digital (SD) cards, secure digital high capacity (SDHC) cards and MultiMediaCards (MMC).
