Use An Eastman Kodak Easyshare Camera

Kodak joined the digital camera evolution when it developed its line of EasyShare cameras and peripherals. The aim was to make digital photography goof-proof, bringing more amateur photographers into the fold. There are a few basics when using the camera everyone should know.

Instructions

1. Charge the battery before using the camera for the first time. The EasyShare comes with a separate battery charger, which charges the battery outside of the camera.

2. Open, turn and flip the LCD screen to turn the camera on.

3. Review the menu settings, and become familiar with what each function does in the "on" and "off" modes. The key functions include autofocus, red-eye reduction, and the flash-sync settings. The EasyShare was designed to simplify the process of taking photos, which means most of us can just snap photos and not worry about adjustments.

4. Use the Wi-Fi option to transfer pictures without connecting the camera to the USB port of your PC. The EasyShare has a slot for a wireless networking card which, when set up properly, will work with any Wi-Fi network.

5. Write your own captions for your photos and save them to a scrapbook while they're still in the camera's memory. You can print these out as full scrapbook pages using the software that came with the camera.

6. Crop and edit your photos while they're still in the camera's memory using a few simple tools accessed through its menu options.

7. Print your photos directly from the camera without downloading them to your computer. Use the Wi-Fi option to link the camera directly to your printer or to email photos from you computer, or use the printer dock that came with the camera to print through a USB port on your computer or printer.

8. Use the camera's burst mode to take up to four pictures in succession without releasing the shutter button.
