If you spend a lot of time looking at your Windows Mobile phone, you might like to add a theme to your phone. The Windows Mobile operating system includes full skinning capabilities, allowing you to download and install a theme to give your Windows Mobile 6 device virtually any appearance that you can think of. Download and install a Windows Mobile theme to personalize your phone or personal digital assistant (PDA).
Instructions
1. Download the theme of your choice on your PC from a website such as WM6 Software, WM6 Themes or Microsoft (see Resources section). Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a folder.
2. Connect the Windows Mobile 6 device to your computer and allow it to sync with ActiveSync or the Windows Mobile Device Center.
3. Click the "Start" button, then click "My Computer" in Windows XP or "Computer" in Windows Vista or 7. Browse to your device. Copy all of the files extracted from the downloaded theme into the root folder of your Windows Mobile device.
4. Tap "Start," "Settings" and "Today." Your downloaded theme should appear on the list. Tap it, then tap the "Close" icon. The theme will load immediately.
