Install Hp Photosmart 7350

Inkjet cartridges can bring vivid colors.

The HP Photosmart 7350 is a color inkjet printer designed for users looking to generate printouts of their digital photographs. Among its other features, the 7350 comes equipped with a maximum optimized print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, color print speeds of up to 11 pages per minute, four memory card slots and support for printing photos directly from a digital camera via a USB connection. The installation process for the HP Photosmart 7350 is a simple one, and you should be able to get the device running in short order.

Instructions

1. Turn the printer around and examine the rear panel. Find the power port, located on the left side of the rear panel. Plug one end of the power cord into the power port and then plug the remaining end into a nearby electrical outlet.

2. Examine the front of the printer and locate the paper output tray. Lift the paper output tray upward and place the paper input tray underneath. Extend the paper width and length guides as far as possible and then load the input tray with paper. Slide the paper guides inward and lower the paper output tray.

3. Press the power button, located on the left side of the printer's control panel. Lift the printer's top cover and wait for the print cartridge holder to move into view. Hook a fingertip under the latch located on the left side of the print cartridge holder and lift the latch upward. Repeat with the latch located on the right side.

4. Remove your ink cartridges from their packaging. Insert the photo cartridge (or black ink cartridge, if preferred) into the slot on the right side of the print cartridge holder, and then insert the tri-color cartridge into the slot on the left side. Pull both latches over the print cartridges and apply pressure until you feel them click into place. Lower the printer's top cover.

5. Turn on your computer and log into your operating system. Insert the installation CD that came packaged with your Photosmart 7350. If you are using a Windows operating system, run the installer application and follow the onscreen instructions. Do not connect your printer to your computer until prompted to do so. If you are using a Macintosh, connect your printer before running the installer application.
