Creating a slide show for the Web can be exciting and a great way to showcase your work.
Instructions
Choosing Photographs
1. Choose the pictures you want to include in your slide show. Make sure they have been properly edited (cropped, red-eye reduction and dust removal) before making your selection. Put the photos in a folder to separate them from other photos you do not want to include.
2. On most image-sharing websites, you can select a template or a way to display your photos. Make your selection and follow the instructions of the website on add photos.
3. Make sure you have the right dimension requirements. Photo-sharing websites will give you the proper dimensions. Make sure each of your photos is in the correct format to be displayed on the Web. Most photo-sharing websites take only JPEG or TIFF images. Consumer-brand cameras typically shoot in JPEG format, so nothing needs to be changed. But professional DSLRS can shoot in a variety of formats. The best way to change the format of a photograph is processing it through a professional photography program such as Adobe Lightroom to change them into "Web" ready images.
4. After you double-check the size requirements for the photos, most photo-sharing websites make it simple to upload and display pictures.
