Move Mp3s To My Sd Card For G3

The HTC Hero G3 is a touch screen smart phone that runs the Android operating mobile system. The phone offers many features including an email client, mobile Web browser, calender and access to the Android App Store, which provides access to thousands of applications designed to function on the phone. The phone also has a built-in MP3 player that allows you to listen to music on the phone. To store music on the phone, a microSD card must be installed.


Instructions


1. Plug the USB cable that was included with the phone into the USB port on the bottom of the phone. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer's USB port.


2. Open the Notifications Panel on the phone when a new notification appears, alerting you that the phone is connected to the computer. To open the Notifications Panel, place your finger on the notification icon on the status bar at the top of the phone and then slide your finger down.


3. Tap "USB Connected" from within the Notifications Panel and then tap "Mount."


4. Open the "Start" menu and click "Computer" or "My Computer," depending on your version of Windows. Double-click the HTC Hero G3 icon. Mac users, double-click the HTC Hero G3 icon when it appears on your desktop.


5. Create a new folder in the first window displayed when the HTC Hero G3 icon was clicked, also known as the "Root Folder." Name the folder an easily recognizable name, such as "Music."


6. Open a new Windows Explorer or Finder (Mac) window and navigate to the MP3 files that you would like to load on the phone.


7. Drag the files or folders into the newly created folder on your HTC Hero G3.


8. Close the windows when the files have finished copying. Disconnect the phone from the computer. If using a Mac computer, drag the HTC Hero G3 icon to the "Trash" to eject the phone from the computer.
