Install Pictures On A Pen Digital Picture Frame

A digital picture frame includes an LCD screen and media storage inputs.

A digital picture frame displays various images via a slideshow or a single image on an LCD screen. These picture frames are convenient, because they allow a user to display more than one picture on their picture frames. A pen digital picture frame uses a pen drive, which is also called a stick drive, to read and play the images stored on the drive. You can sometimes save the files from the drive to the frame itself.

Instructions

Using A USB Cable

1. Locate the USB port on the back of your digital picture frame pen holder.

2. Connect one end of the USB cable to the frame, and the other to an available USB port on your computer.

3. Click the "Start" button, and select "My Computer."

4. Scroll down to "Devices with Removable Storage," and click on the icon or listing that represents the digital picture frame.

5. Copy and paste, or drag and drop the pictures you want displayed on your digital picture frame pen holder to the icon that represents your digital frame. The pictures will be stored on your frame using any onboard memory storage available.

6. Right click on the drive and, select "Eject" once you have finished transferring your pictures.

Using a SD, XD, or Compact Flash Card

7. Remove the memory card from your camera once you are done taking your pictures. Depending on the make and model of your digital picture frame, it may only be compatible with certain memory cards.

8. Insert the memory card into your digital picture frame making sure you are using the correct slot on the side of your frame. Each slot is labeled with the abbreviation of the card it corresponds to.

9. Turn your digital picture frame on. The pictures stored on the memory card will automatically begin on playing as a slideshow.

10. Copy pictures that you want to store on the digital picture frame's internal memory by using the "Menu" button. Select "Copy," and select the location where you want to save them on the digital picture frame. Depending on the make and model of your digital picture frame, the process might be different. Consult your instruction manual for your make and model.
