Insert your memory card into a reader to receive music uploads.
Memory cards provide handy portable storage for digital files of a wide array of formats. Due to their large capacity, memory cards are particularly convenient for music storage and transfer and playback on select devices. Unless your personal computer has a memory card slot, you will need to connect a memory card reader to the device if you wish to upload music onto your memory card. Once inserted into the reader, you may upload music from your personal collection stored on the computer's hard drive.
Instructions
1. Connect the memory card to your computer. Insert your memory card into a memory card reader. Insert the memory card reader's USB cable into an available USB port on your computer. You may insert the memory card into a memory card slot on your computer.
2. Wait for your computer to recognize the memory card reader as a connected device. The memory card's device icon will appear on your computer's desktop or in its file manager, such as Windows Explorer or Finder. Skip this step if you have inserted a memory card in a memory card slot.
3. Open the file folder containing the music you wish to upload onto the memory card in a new file manager window.
4. Drag and drop the music files or folders you wish to upload onto the memory card's device icon. Simultaneously doing so copies the music and completes the upload process.
5. Remove the memory card reader from your computer. Right-click the memory card's device icon. Select "Safely Remove Device" or "Eject" from the drop-down menu before attempting to physically eject the memory card or disconnect the reader from your computer's USB port.
