Replace A Bl5c Cell Phone Battery

Cell phone batteries may be rechargeable but it doesn't mean they'll last forever.

A BL-5C cell phone battery is a lithium ion rechargeable battery manufactured by Nokia for use in its cellular phones. Over time, lithium ion batteries lose efficiency from constantly being used and recharged. The result is a decrease in the amount of time the battery can power the cell phone for. Eventually, the battery won't be able to be recharged. When loss of efficiency or the inability to recharge the battery occurs, the BL-5C rechargeable lithium ion battery should be replaced.

Instructions

1. Press the back cover release button while sliding the back cover off of the Nokia cell phone.

2. Lift upward to remove the BL-5C battery.

3. Align the gold-colored connectors on the BL-5C battery with the connectors in the battery housing unit. Press firmly to snap the battery into place.

4. Slide the back cover over the battery.
