Hook Up A Video Camera To A Samsung 7000 Tv

Input port placements on the 7000 Series are designed to facilitate interface with other components, even when the TV is wall-mounted.

The Samsung 7000 Series is a line of LED TVs offering 1080p HD video, an ultra-thin design and 3D capability. Among its features is a variety of different input and output connection types that allow you to attach different devices (DVD player, cable or satellite receiver, PC, etc.) for viewing. A camcorder can also be connected to a 7000 Series TV, with the particular input used dependent on the type of output offered by your specific camcorder.

Instructions

1. Check to see which type(s) of A/V outputs are featured on your particular make and model of camcorder. Older 8mm and digital 8 models will connect to a TV's composite RCA input; newer HD cameras will have outputs for HDMI and/or component video as well. Some or all cables will be supplied with your camcorder; purchase others (i.e. HDMI) if they are not and you wish to use this output type.

2. Connect the selected cable from its designated output port on the camcorder to the corresponding input on the recessed area of the rear of the Samsung TV, making sure it is connected securely at both ends.

3. Turn on the camcorder and set it to "Playback" mode. Press the "Source" button on the Samsung TV's remote control to select that chosen input for viewing and begin playback at any time.
