Set Up Iphone 3g Voice Mail

When setting up the voice mail for your iPhone 3G, you can create your own custom greetings or choose a prerecorded default message. When you receive a voice mail, the iPhone displays the name of the person calling and the time and date she called. To listen to the message, clicks on the name and then "Play."

Instructions

1. Turn on the iPhone and touch the phone app. The phone app icon is a green square with a white phone in the center.

2. Touch the voice mail icon on the lower left-hand side of the iPhone screen.

3. Touch the "Greetings" button on the upper right-hand side of the screen.

4. Touch "Custom" to create a custom voice mail greeting. Touch "Record" and speak your greeting into the iPhone. Touch "Stop" to stop recording.

5. Listen to the voice mail greeting by touching "Play." If you are satisfied with the greeting, touch the "Save" button. If dissatisfied, press "Record" and repeat the process. To choose a prerecorded iPhone greeting, touch "Default" and then "Save."
