1. Go to Verizon's official Web site (see Resources below) to find detailed information regarding the carrier's cell phone insurance plan.
2. Study the terms and conditions of the insurance program. Verizon's cell phone insurance plans cover mobile phone units and some of their accessories.
3. Examine the payment options. Your cell phone insurance program should suit your budget and payment preferences.
4. Sign up for the Verizon cell phone insurance program. However, enrollment for the cell phone insurance plan won't be valid until 15 days after your Verizon phone activation.
5. Follow all enrollment steps and follow up with Verizon's customer service regarding your cell phone insurance. Questions and problems regarding the insurance plan can be directed to the company's customer service hotline.
