Transfer Pictures From Your Camera To Your Computer

An interface cable transfers digital photos to your computer's image library.

After a photography session, you can upload your digital images to your personal computer for viewing and storage. Digital files can copy from the camera to your computer through an interface cable. This interface cable, usually included with the camera, connects the camera terminal with the computer's USB port. Windows 7 will store the files in a picture folder in the Pictures Library by default.

Instructions

1. Turn off the camera.

2. Connect the cable to your camera's terminal port.

3. Connect the cable to the USB port on your computer.

4. Power on the camera.

5. Select from the options displayed on the computer screen. For example, some software may include a message asking to download all photos, or only specific photos. The images will copy to a folder in the Windows Pictures Library.

6. Turn off the camera. Disconnect the cable from the camera and from the computer. Do not pull on the cord.
