How Keep Track Of Boost Walkie Talkie Calls

Boost Mobile is a prepay, no-contract wireless phone service that provides similar features to the Nextel network and is owned by the Sprint Nextel corporation. Under the Boost Mobile pay-as-you-go plan, wireless phone calls are charged at 99 cents per minute, while the walkie-talkie feature will charge your account $1 per day and provides unlimited usage (as of January 2011). If you're a frequent user of the walkie-talkie feature and would like to keep track of how much your account has been charged from using the service, you can do so by following a few steps.

Instructions

1. Turn on your phone and enter the call screen.

2. Dial #BAL (#225) then press the "call" button. Wait a few moments for a text message to arrive.

3. Compare the balance shown in the text message to your previous balance. If you've used the walkie-talkie feature, you will have been charged $1 for each day you used it. This should be reflected in the balance shown.
