The K40 Plus CB antenna is designed for installation on virtually any flat surface on a motor vehicle. The K40 has a capacitor for receiver CB signals across all 40 channels. There is an internal isolation chamber within its design to reduce static damping and a tip with a radius to dissipate static. Installing the K40 Plus CB antenna is a fairly straightforward process.
Instructions
1. Locate a flat surface on the automobile where you desire to place the K40 Plus antenna. This location can be basically any outside surface on the vehicle that is flat.
2. Place the K40 Plus magnetic antenna base on the chosen surface and press to make sure it is secure on the spot.
3. Place the K40 Plus main body assembly on the base, aligning the bottom of the main body with the four metal fasteners on the top of the base.
4. Twist the main body clockwise for a quarter turn to lock the main body into place on the base. You will feel a slight sap when the main body has locked into place properly onto the base.
