Reset A Pioneer Media Receiver

A Pioneer Media Receiver can receive signals from portable media players like the iPod or iPad, from a USB memory stick, as well as Internet radio stations after being connected to a computer. The system plays Sirius radio and features wireless connectivity compatible with Bluetooth devices. If the Pioneer Media Receiver malfunctions, a reset may solve the issue. Reset the device by following a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Disconnect any iPod, iPad, iPhone or USB memory sticks from the Pioneer Media Receiver.

2. Press the "Multi-Zone" button on the front panel repeatedly until the display reads "Multi-Zone Off."

3. Press the "Enter" button on the receiver's front panel. While holding "Enter," press the "Standby/On" button. The display will read "Reset/No."

4. Press the "Preset" navigation arrow button in the radio band control section of the front panel to select the "Reset" option. The display will read "Reset? OK."

5. Press the "Enter" button on the front panel to confirm. The message "OK" will appear on the display, indicating that the Pioneer Media Receiver has been reset to its factory default settings.
