Component cables are used to transfer high-definition signals from audio/visual devices, such as video game systems and Blu-ray players, to televisions. In the event that you are connecting one of these devices to a television that does not have component ports, you can still connect your device to a television by converting the component signal to the coaxial signal in an F-Type coaxial adapter. As long as you have the right equipment, you can do this with little effort.
Instructions
1. Connect one end of your component cables to the component ports on your component-to-RCA adapter cable.
2. Connect the RCA end of the component-to-RCA adapter cable to the RCA port on your F-Type coaxial cable adapter.
3. Test the completed adapter cable by connecting the component ends of your cable to your audio/visual device and connecting the coaxial end of the cable to the coaxial input port on your television. Turn your television on and change it to channel 3 to ensure the visual signal is transmitting properly.
