Format A Mini Sd Card For The Dash S620 Phone

A microSD-to-SD adapter turns a microSD card into a full-size SD card.

The T-Mobile Dash is a smartphone available on the T-Mobile cellular telephone network. The phone runs the Windows Mobile 6 operating system and includes a web browser, MP3 player and camera. The phone's internal memory is expandable with a microSD memory card, which can be connected to your computer's SD card reader using a microSD-to-SD adapter. If you would like to format the Dash's microSD card, the SD Association provides a free utility to do so.

Instructions

1. Visit the SD Association's home page and download the SD Formatter 2.0 software (see Resources). The SD Association is responsible for setting and overseeing the standards followed in the development, production and use of SD cards. The SD Association recommends that SD cards be formatted using the SD Formatter 2.0 software.

2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the SD Formatter 2.0 software.

3. Insert the microSD card into the microSD-to-SD adapter, then insert the adapter into your computer's SD card reader.

4. Open the SD Formatter 2.0 software, then select the SD card reader drive from the drop-down menu at the top of the software window.

5. Click "Format" to format the microSD card.
