Sharing pictures has never been easier thanks to the convenience of the Internet. It's easy to send your pictures by email.
Instructions
1. Upload the photos to your computer. Your digital camera should have come with a camera cord, software and simple instructions to upload your photos. Photos might automatically download or you will have to click "Upload Photos" (usually in the navigation or a button that appears in a pop-up window).
2. Be sure the photos are the way you want them. The photography software should have basic and easy-to-use editing options such as red-eye removal, cropping and rotating. If you make changes, be sure to save them before you continue. Also remember the file name of the photo you want to send.
3. Login to your email account and draft the email you plan to send the photo with. Click on the button at the top that allows you to attach files to the email.
4. Find the photo you want to send. Typically, photo programs will automatically save your photos in a folder on the hard drive called "My Pictures" unless you specify otherwise. When you find it, double click on the file name. This should upload the file to the email, but some email programs require you click "attach" to finalize the attachment.
5. Before you hit send, look at the file name. Most email programs will list the file size. Most normal images are around 1-3 megabytes. Typical email programs will allow you to send and receive a maximum of 10 MB per email, although it is usually safer to send no more than 6 to ensure your email reaches the intended sender. Depending on how many photos you want to send, you might have to send more than one email.
