Troubleshoot Jvc Video

When using a JVC video camera, you may encounter issues, including the camera not staying on,the camera failing to record information or the recorded data not uploading to a computer system. Regardless of the problem, a few troubleshooting tips can go a long way toward fixing it.

Instructions

1. Completely charge the battery on your JVC video camera. If the camera's battery is beginning to fail, the video camera is going to shut off unexpectedly.

2. Spray compressed air into the tape deck on the JVC video camera, if the camera uses tapes to record. When the deck becomes dirty the recorded content may have distortion, such as lines across the screen or even static. Distortion occurs when dust scratches the tape.

3. Insert a new tape or memory card into the camera. If the camera's storage device is full, you are going to receive an error message, stating you are unable to record any additional video.

4. Delete excess files from your computer system. If the current hard drive is full, you are unable to upload video to the computer. Making room on the computer's hard drive allows you to upload footage from the camera and delete the content from the video camera's drive.
