The Olympus FE-330 is from the Olympus FE line which features a wide range of compact cameras which have a slim, compact design and take high quality images. This camera has both still photo and video capabilities. As of 2010, this digital camera has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but may still be available for purchase used or refurbished. The FE-330 has specifications similar to those of larger cameras but in a pocket size.

Among its many features, the FE-330 offers a 5x optical zoom and a 20x digital zoom with its advanced lens technology. The Olympus FE-330 Camera also offers a Macro and Super Macro mode for close-up photography. The camera's 11 scene program modes allow for precise and detailed photography whether photos are taken outside during the day using a landscape mode or during nightfall using night mode.
Movies with sound may also be recorded using the FE-330. Its 2.7 inch LCD screen allows for clear image and video playback right on camera in addition to showing what the image will look like once it's taken. This camera takes 8.0 megapixel JPEG format images which are stored on the removable xD picture card located in the camera's picture card slot. Additionally, an internal memory of 20.5 mb is available in the camera.

The focusing range depends on the mode being used; whether macro or zoom is being used to take the image. The FE-330 uses an ISO, or sensitivity level, of 64 to 640 at auto, and manual levels of 64, 100, 200, 400 and 640. The shutter speed ranges from 4 to 1/2000 seconds and the exposure compensation can be adjusted as well. Movies, recorded as AVI, are recorded at a size of 640 by 480 and 320 by 240. The built-in flash can be set at auto, red-eye reduction, fill-in or off mode. A self-timer may be set up to take images ten seconds after the shutter is pressed.

The FE-330 is a lightweight camera weighing just 4.3 ounces, not including the weight of the battery and xD card. It measures 3.8 by 2.8 by .09 inches. Its power supply is a lithium ion battery which can be recharged continuously. The FE-330 can be connected to a computer using a USB cable through which images can be transferred. This Olympus camera is available in four colors: silver, light pink, dark blue and black.
