Use A Memory Stick Pro Duo

Memory Stick Pro Duo

The Playstation Portable (PSP) is a hand held gaming console developed by Sony. While the PSP is primarily for gaming, it also allows for a host of other uses. You can use the PSP for watching movies, taking pictures, listening to music or even web surfing. The PSP uses a Memory Stick Pro Duo to store information and content. With the Memory Stick Pro Duo, you can save games, movies and music to use directly on the PSP.

Instructions

1. Insert the card into the PSP port. Open the flap on the bottom left side of the PSP. Put your fingernail in the indentation and gently pull down. That will open the port. Push the Memory Stick Pro Duo into the slot. It will click into place. Then close the flap of the port.

2. Choose the application format. On the PSP menu, choose the type of file you wish to access. Use the d-pad to navigate through the top menu options. For example, retrieving a video file, select the video menu option by pressing the "X" button.

3. Highlight the memory stick Pro Duo. Press the "X" button to initiate the media content.

4. Save your games with a Memory Stick Pro Duo. Some games offer auto-save features. Others you will need to manually save to your card. The manual options may include a menu or a simple key to press.
