Electric nailer

electric nailer

i just purchased a task force electric nailer at lowe's for around $40. it's not bad, and it shoots 1 1/4 brads, but you must hold down the front of the nailer for it to sink. now, i'm wondering if there's an electric one out there where you just pull the trigger, and it's got enough power to sink a 1 1/4 brad?? i've seen a few out there, but i'm a little gun shy that the electrics just don't have the power the air ones do. thanks in advance!! arthropod98, Arrow also makes an electric brad nailer (up to 1 1/4 inch) and it sells for about $115. Due to the mechanics of these machines, the kick-back and non nail set is about normal. My electric stapler will do the same thing with 1/2 inch staples unless I put weight on the gun. fed thanks for the info! i was thinking that was the case . . . all the 1 1/4 electric nailers have that big top, and i kinda thought that was for pushing down on. i don't know, to me that sort of defeats the whole purpose of using a nailer! oh well, it's not like it's a need anyway. just an fyi, lowes sells a 1 1/4 brad nailer by task force for around $40. that's the one i had, and from what you said, it seems just as good as any of the more expensive ones.
