Van Conversion

Van conversion can involve outfitting a full-sized van for off-road travel, camping and towing. Conversion vans are also available with numerous luxuries, furnishings and accessories, plus custom paint and other exterior features.


Standard Features


When purchasing a conversion van, standard features may include reclining captain's chairs, a rear sofa that folds down into a bed, individual reading lamps, cordless headphones, rear heat and air conditioning controls and side window shades. The exterior may feature graphics and side molding, a full running board and a roof rack.


Options


Choices of additional options include amenities such as leather upholstery, heated seats, refrigerator, power rear sofa, power sun roof, GPS, backup sensors and camera, television/DVD player and chrome wheels.


Four-by-Four


A four-wheel drive conversion van can be purchased from a dealer or a kit can be purchased for those who are mechanically inclined to convert a two-wheel drive vehicle. These vans also include luxury features for comfort and versatility.


Towing


Conversion vans can typically tow between 6,000 and 7,500 lbs.
